IKI Krav Maga

Our system is derived from Moshe Katz, Israeli Krav International (IKI). During the course of his 30 plus years in martial arts Moshe has trained with some of the greatest instructors around the world. He is certified by Wingate, Israel’s national martial arts institute and certification board, and by Itay Gil; his instructor and friend of many years.

He spent several years working for the Israeli Board of Education as a Krav Maga instructor, advisor, and contributor. He spent two years training the Jerusalem Elite Security guards, those who patrol the most dangerous neighborhoods of Jerusalem.

Over the years Moshe has been recognized world-wide for his abilities and innovations and has received numerous awards and honors from military, police, civilian and governments. He has been featured in news broadcasts, TV and radio, newspapers and magazines throughout the world.

Our Krav System

Our system is derived from Moshe Katz, Israeli Krav International (IKI).  We understand that everyone selfdefense goals are different.  This is why we take a layered approach. Our first layer is base on situation awareness, next layer is base  off of defending yourself and escaping, we move on to the next layer that is base on attacking and the finial layer is the protection phase (protection of others). It’s your choice on whether you want to move to the next layer or not.

Layer 0, Situation Awareness

The situation awareness layer will teach you how to look for the signs and identify potential hostile situations.

Layer 1, Escape

The escape layer will teach you how to defend and escape from hostile situations.  You will learn how to defend and escape from chokes, knives, guns, punches and kicks.

Layer 2, Attack

The attack layer will teach you how to defend and attack.  You will learn how to counter attacks.  We understand that every situation is different, that’s why we train for all.

Layer 3 Protection

The protection layer will teach you how to defend yourself and others.
